ESI was contracted to make masonry repairs to the Scituate Lighthouse! The scope of work included performing brick rebuilding and coating. We sandblasted the existing coatings from the exterior masonry surfaces, cut and repointed all masonry mortar joints, removed and replaced all deteriorated and missing brick masonry units, applied waterproofing elastomeric coating to all masonry surfaces, and installed an automatic dehumidifier with appropriate ductwork and electrical connections.
